The Australasian College of Phlebology has developed a comprehensive curriculum covering the field of phlebology which is available anywhere in the world via its online training portal.

The education modules are designed to provide a basic and standardised understanding of various aspects of phlebology. The modules will provide a structured and focused learning system to better prepare the trainees for fellowship or similar examinations in venous disease.

The online module system was developed as part of the Australasian College of Phlebology (ACP) training program under the auspices of the UIP. Each module covers a topic that is managed by an instructor who is a phlebologist.

You can choose to study one or all three levels of training offered.

UIP AND ACP MEMBERS: Members of the Union Internationale de Phlebologie (UIP) and the Australasian College of Phlebology (ACP) can gain access at special rates.

NON-UIP  OR ACP MEMBERS: People holding medical registration can also access the modules at the full rate.

Subscription to the modules is for one-year access.

The user simply needs to login, read through the course outline, learning outcomes and documents uploaded by the instructor. Once materials have been studied you will then complete an online assessment to pass that module. The instructors are happy to take questions and clarify salient points. You can also ask questions via the forum and view supplementary resources from conference presentations to published articles. Once all assessments are completed for your course,
you will receive a certificate of completion from the Australasian College of Phlebology.

UIP AND ACP MEMBERS
Subscription to the modules is for one-year access to all modules within the system. Registrants can determine at which pace they would like to continue through the program. Should you need more time to work through the modules you will need to subscribe for another year of access to the online modular system. Your one-year subscription will also provide you with access to the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) online library. The RSM online library access alone is valued at £260 which is included in your module subscription fee (not included for tier 2 or individual courses).

Enrolment in the online modules does not provide membership with the Australasian College of Phlebology or enrolment in the full clinical training program. There is no clinical training provided through the online modules and a certificate of completion will be received on completion of all modules for each level of training (Years 1, 2, 3 & 4).
